Veterinary Question

While this is an excellent idea, it’s important to understand the limitations surrounding veterinary advice shared publicly. After consulting with a vet, here’s what I learned:

  • Vets are bound by strict rules to avoid anything that could be seen as advertising or poaching clients from other vets.

  • Sharing specific advice on an open forum can create conflicts and liability issues. It is always better for a vet to diagnose an issue in person rather than through a forum.

To ensure responsible sharing, we encourage members to stay in direct contact with their own vet. However, if your vet diagnoses an issue and you believe the experience could be valuable for others, you can ask your vet for permission to record and share a video of the treatment. With their consent, you can upload this to the members’ group as a learning resource.
